thank you, magicman.

what you posted and commented on
got me also off my butt too.

I code one in Cobra. Although its similar to the
ones above that both agent smith and steve posted
it comes with extra....

extra eye candy.

um...kinda socoder shy to show you all it. Except for a few. I'll work more on it for extra peanuts and almonds too.

cheers,

sheesh!! heehee haha steve.
ahhhhhhhhh!! what if they were almonds, dude.

I gotta get off and leve for now.
whoa!! the coding giggles are affecting me.

LOL Most of the people there cant even seem to understand the specs of the prog. if it dont mod then print the number. At least you guys both got it right! But then again it is a test for retards No disrespect intended as youre probably better coders than me, esp mr smith. But still its a test for retards

LOL... Are you saying that we are nullified in the noggin ?.

okay, mister mike.

mike,

here is the power mousey mini challenge.
And I'm glad you asked.

Using only a programming language
such as Blitz Basic, Blitz 3d, Dark Basic, DBPRO,
Pure Basic, BlitzMax or even Cobra
try to set up some code to do these:

(1)display 20 numbers on the screen...actually
flipping it and displaying it on the double buffer.
1 cheese point for this. -

(2)with these 20 numbers, indicate and display
whether thay are multiples of 3 and/or 5.
3 cheese points earned. -

(3)set up and display the numbers 1 to 100
and indicate whether they are multiples of 3 and/or 5
5 cheese points.

(4)set up and display 1000 numbers. And indicate
whether they are multiples of 3 and/or 5.
10 total cheese points.

extra slices of cheese if you can
implement pages of certain ranges of numbers.
ohhhh...lets say from 1 to 20, 21 to 40, 41 to 60, etc
and also if you can change the colors of the background
and/or of the numerical symbols and characters too.
Basic colors of black, white and RGB will do.

also utilize keys for paging up or down, in and out and also for Homing(Home) and reset too.

amazing coding cheers

"steve" nullified in the noggin

Nice terminology

&@ Powermousey: Sorry but why would I want to do that?

for i = 1 to 1000 mod mod blah blah...

power mousey
its for the cheese, please.

seriously, its not only for working out a method
or algorthim to display numbers and to display an indication whether they are multiples of 3 and/or 5.
but also of adding imagery and functionality
of cool and exciting user features too.

and also its for the fun and challenge too.
to gather and dispose of the rust and dust
in your brain trust.
and for re-learning too. Implementing and utilizing
both application and media imagery for a good experience.
For you and other people and your users too.

but wait!!....power mousey mini challenges will
eventually become power mousey major and ultimate
challenges too.

but hey, if you want or like to do it...cool.
If you don't...then cool.
Its up to you. true.

cheers,

Yeah well I just had to write a prog like that in my javascript class. I done this stuff already in C. I'll probably have to do it again in Java when I get around to that. Its stupid since i learn all these languages, but I dont get to do anything new, just the same shit in a new language. Specially when the two are so syntactically similar (for modding anyway), so whats the point?
Wednesday, 28 February 2007, 18:30
power mousey
the point is your congruency.

Will you be congruent with undertaking
being patient, hanging in there, getting
along with others in a friendly and communicative
manner doing this same or similar shit over and over
for a company and especially in and with a team
of developers and for your supervisor, your manager, and also for your client and customer.

It aint easy...I know.

Also, a lot of games use the same or similar shit
in their algorithms and methods and over and over again.
What can be different is basically things such as the GUI or interface, game mechanics, the sounds and music, the images and animations, and how the user controls are implenmented and utilized. Also, the variety of story and character designs too. Slapped on with the various and differing Company design logos, credits, and banners too.

like for example, I did take the algorithm and did it straight forward while coding it in Cobra. Then I added some variety for spruced up user features-->the eye candy.
And also added some user controls too.

Sugar and spice...hopefully its nice
Snails and puppy dog tails...applications full of pails.
You know dude

I was going to do a Cobra version too, but it appears Cobra doesn't support console I/O. You have to dump the output into a text file.
Anyway, this is what it looks like..

this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
did not do it this way.

Mister Smith,

I'm not Mister Anderson.
I thought you being the powerful renegade Matrix program
you would figure this out.

If I told you...then the beginning would have an end.
Seek out the Oracle, first.

I'll be hiding behind Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity too.
