Am I right in saying that bare metal on a RPi-B is the same as how it's done on RPi-Zero?

Well, mostly yes. The processor is different so you need to change the architecture type when building. They also changed some of the memory map, so you'll need to double check that too.

I've stuck with the PiZero rather than trying to run on anything else as that's what I intend to use for now.

Having said that, I know people are having success with it, so shouldn't be too hard. Rpi-3 is another story however

I've got two Pi Zero's now!

1) RetroPi
2) DietPi

I could swap out the SD cards in one, but that's a faff... Now, I just hit a button on a HDMI splitter, unt voila!!!

And of course, if I break one, well, I have backup!

I tried asking if I can buy in quantity for a project I'm working on with a friend - absolutely no chance =/

At least I managed to order a few more for reserves
