 		Yeah my days of buying top-end phones are gone. I'm a firm believer that Samsung (and Apple, and others) deliberately cripple their own hardware over time to force upgrades, so I would never shell out over £700 for a phone that I have every confidence is going to implode on itself within three or so years. That's the sort of depreciation you normally only get with cars, and it's silly.

I have a middle-of-the-road Galaxy J5 2016 now that cost me about £170 I think. I only use it for internet/email etc, so it's more than enough. I could have got a much cheaper one that does the same thing but screen size/resolution then becomes an issue, and the J5 was a good compromise.

 		I've never been one to buy top end phones, being a Yorkshire-man I do watch my pennies (or cents over here!).

And for $342AUD (approx 205 pounds) its a really nice phone, just waiting now on a phone cover and a nano sim (current phone has a micro sim with no pop out).
