Pakz	It can do 250.000.000 tris in real time. Not sure how many my new 1050 can do. In monkey2 it can barely do a small map. Probably mark needs to optimize it more.

GfK	Dunno about that... the first PC I ever got, powered by a Cyrix 233MHz processor cost me over £1,000. My current system is a liquid-cooled i7-4790k, 32GB RAM, 500+120GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX970 graphics card, all housed in a Corsair Obsidian case with a Corsair 850W modular PSU and 2 x 27" monitors.... overall it's probably close to £1,500. I've had several PCs and laptops between, including three currently operational laptops, and three other desktop PCs in various states of disrepair, plus boxes full of spare parts, from patch cables to entire motherboards. Tried to shift some of it on eBay not long back... not a sniff. Will probably end up dumping a lot of it. Paid a lot of money for some of it but it's worth sod-all now.

Jayenkai	I've owned roughly 5 desktops, and 4 laptops, and I distinctly remember the HP Win7 desktop being "top of the range - for me" at a whopping £549 ..albeit most of that price tag was the lovely 1080p 27" Monitor, which is still in good use as my MacMini's Monitor. I've also had 2 MacMini's at about £550 each, too. So, in total, lets say 12x£550, which is definitely isn't that much, but even so that's still only £6,600... less than £7,000... waroffice	GFX cards have cost that much before, not not aimed at the 'enthusiast' more for movie production. I know because when I was a teenager I wanted to be a 3D designer and looked at all the hardware my laptop cost me £2100 last year, I had just broken up with the misses and wanted to treat my self. my desktop is also an i7 4790K overclocked to 4.4ghz (i think), 16GB ram AMD R9 290 500GB Samsung NVME m.2 SSD (2.1GB/s read speed) + 3TB spinny disk in a Coolermaster god awful HAF X case all custom watercooled, cooling alone set me back about £600, now it bearly makes a noise I dread to think what I have spent on PC hardware, my first one was an old 386 not sure of specs, then a 486 DX2 66mhz. Advantages of your dad owning a computer repair shop! EDIT: The laptop mentioned is the only PC I have bought in a shop, everything else I have built myself
