Eeeee Edge is pap innit... I have it open to test a webpage, I know the page has changed, yet, it throws up the same one all the time, even with CTRL+R, plonk the addy into Chrome, and voila... The changed page is there!!! Thats me not using that for another 3 years or something!

Ctrl+F5 worked... Bit of a stretch for my digits on my left hand though!

I've always thought Ctrl + F5 was the standard tbh, works across all th desktop browsers I've used.

Isn't it just F5 to refresh the page or am I missing something here?

F5 refreshes, holding Shift (or apparently Ctrl) whilst it reloads forces any files to be refreshed, whether cached or not.

I always thought Ctrl+R worked fine, I thought it still asked the server if there was anything new... Never once have I had to rely on Ctrl+F5 to force a page to reload everything!?! Or maybe its the content that makes the browser decide if it sticks with a cached version or not, currently, its all just "echo's"!

Who knows... But, just tested, Ctrl+R in Chrome updates the page accordingly, adding new content I've just plonked in, Edge doesnt!!!

Oh well, that answers that question!

Sticking with Chrome, its easier on the finger spanning shenanigans!
