Remember the Blitz3D manual? Look at the bottom of the page. BRL brought it back. I just noticed that, and I thought some people might be interested.

|edit| BRL link to the main page... here's the book's page. |edit|

yeah, but I just posted it cause there used to be one and people wanted it, but BRL stopped selling it, and now they brought it back, so I posted it.

The contents has Blitz3d before Basic. I feel this is a bad arrangement. You should know the basics of programming before you program in 3d.

I've got the boxed version Blitz3D. Is there any difference between the manual that I recieved as part of the package and the manual BRL are selling ?.

It's probably a more up to date version, with the latest command list, and such. Other than that, I'd guess it's probably just a rehash of the original.

"The contents has Blitz3d before Basic. I feel this is a bad arrangement. You should know the basics of programming before you program in 3d."

The arrangement is actually pretty bad, now that I look at it, it's language reference then 3d then basic. basic and language reference imo should really go together.

"wow, 29.99, thats a bit for what it is i would say!"

It's $19.99, brl's site is all screwed up.

seed money to continue on with their BlitzMax3d, living expenses, and probably other projects too.

Perhaps??.....

cheers,

*new edit: now again, a Blitz3d Bible could be a good thing. Two versions: long and epensive King James Blitz3d version and inexpensive and condensed New International Blitz3d version too.
This Bible or reference guide is chockful of articles, tutorials, examples, demos, codes, tips and tricks.
ahhhh!!! here is one book title:

"Tips and Tricks of the 3d Blitz Coders"
