You join me as I sit here watching the progress bar on my latest "complete backup"
Scouring everything from my NAS drive to my Laptop's drive, my Mac's drive and even the little thumbstick I occasionally use, I'm about 5% of the way through ammasing everything onto my external portable drives. (2x everything!)
I hate doing the big round-up, as I tend to have leftovers and different versions and all sorts of stuff, all over the place.
I really oughta better organise my stuff, but for the most part, the majority of my stuff gets auto-backed onto the NAS drive, so it's not really all as messy as it could be.
It's just that, over the years, I've learned that Microsoft's "SyncToy" Backup can occasionally be glitchy, and miss important stuff.
So, yeah, it's better to be safe than sorry.
*tum-tee-tum*
.. This is pretty much my entire Friday, right here!!
.. And it's only the "JNK Software" folder, too. The "Server" folder comes next.. *shudder*
