Gravity Bombs

A Classic W.W. Remake

Windows
Linux (Compiled under Ubuntu 9.10)
Screenshots

After ShroomMonk came up with the nice gravity swirly technique (and I'd been overthinking it for SUCH a long time) I created Swirly Squares for Wednesday Workshop #111.

Now, nearly 3 years later, I've oddly decided to remake it, and the first thing I did was add More Color!!

Shoot the colourful holes, make them explode, and watch the lovely swirlyness.

Nice little game! The swirliness is so... soothing!

This seems to play differently at different resolutions. At 1920x1080 the shots don't reach across the whole screen, whilst at 640x480 they easily do. Not only is it much more difficult, it means some levels are uncompletable.

Is it slightly off, still? Dang.. Need to give the main shots a wee pep then.

All levels are completable, it depends on the order you hit them. Aim for the middle, not the edge.

Slightly newer version releasing tomorrow, due to "too busy, got a Mac" week having buggered up my regular weekly schedule!

It's possible to get into a state where it's uncompletable. This happened to me earlier today, I had one green star left on the exact opposite corner to my green shooter.

Did you try hitting it with something else? You can wear them down with other coloured shots.

Slightly updated version now available. Not that much different, but a few tweaks here and there.
