JL235	HP might have also decided to dump the stock to make their PC line more attractive to any potential customers. It means if anyone else wanted to reboot WebOS, they would be more likely to succeed. There is also an overhead to having to look after all that stock in their HP warehouses, especially if retailers had the right to return any stock that failed to sell.

Cower	you think this is in response to the HP TouchPad? Why would Apple care about the Touchpad when it couldn't put a dent in their sales? For that matter, why would their response to the Touchpad be a phone?

JL235	This would also help to get other HP products on the map, again to make the PC line more attractive to buy. One of the main reasons Mac sales are up over the last few years is down to the iPhone.

JL235	Looks like I won't get getting one, : ( . Argos only changed their price on one part of their website, not in all places, so their price cut has passed me by. Damn you Argos! Tesco have also got rid of all their stock, despite their being no price cut.

dna	I'm getting mixed information on the ionternet concerning the HP Touchpad and concerning the possible liquidation if other things. Some article mentioned that the remaining TouchPads would be sent to certain Best Buys today. Thought I would let you all know but they already may be gone. I'm calling now Edit The Ads for the item have changed. It now says "Coming Soon" for both editions of the Touchpad -=-=- DNA

dna	I spoke with an HP representative today and was told that there WILL be more Touchpads sold by HP on a first come first served basis. She also mentioned that there may be other items for sale after that sale. I asked about the 4G and she said possibly and so I think that the new CEO is going to sell it all and ruin the name of HP. It's a shame Edit It appears that you can run Android on the Touchpad. Much better -=-=- DNA
