Did you at least have external communication with that first person, like an email address?

Now I have more Tiles available to me, I may as well use 'em! Added some oil slick obstacles to tracks with plans for other obstacle tiles in the future. (I'm thinking some invisible wind tiles mainly here but am open up to suggestions)

A few more tracks are in progress too, here's a screenie from JAPAN LEVEL 1 so far.

My imagination's all but gone to pot, lately.. I think it's AGameAWeek's fault.

Have you considered adding Spikes??!!

can you jump? msybe some sort of ramp?

No jumps in this one sadly. I'm real close to maxing out the lil CPU in the gameboy with the extra tiles I've added tonight, which is frustrating. But, it's more playable with the extra elements now.

So far I've added boost plates, wind tiles, spikes and oil slicks which seem to work fairly well, now up to 10 tracks, but I'll be adding some of the newer tiles to the older tracks now, just to mix things up more.

Considering adding a chance random element for each lap just to vary the laps up a bit, so it's not 100% track memorisation, I dunno though, that CPU usage....

Soo, that was an awesome event, I was running an untested build which is always a bad idea, but it ran on the super gameboy okay, but much better on my gameboy color (60fps vs 30fps on the Super Gameboy)

Which is okayyy, as I still got a lot of feedback from people, mostly positive with some ideas on refining the gameplay. Quite how I'm going to remove features from the plain gameboy version to get back to 60fps whilst keeping it playable I'm not sure but something will happen!

Played a lot of other peoples games which were cool, had a bash on an HTC Vive which, was really great! Much better and smoother than the Oculus DK2 I tried out a couple years back. Gave some feedback to some other peeps games and had a great time! Until my head went..nope, you are wayy too tired now and I had to end the night early, but still good fun!

More circuits, more features, a lot of bugs smashed!

60fps on both GBC and GB consoles, time to show another vid!

Attempting to mix up the A.I. a bit today, just having them all following one path is a bit meh for gameplay really.

Adding variance in a tiny number of bytes, ha, should be fun!

Well, that went really well, the A.I. now has multiple paths, I'm using a lot less CPU (not checking for certain tings on every frame) and here's still 543 bytes free, yeah! That leaves space to add a demo mode maybe even!
