Not sure about fast charging current batteries. They're unstable enough!!

I like the idea of these solid batteries, though.

I have been reading news of this new feature for a few years now. I would like this. It takes more then 3 hours to recharge my ipad.

For cars this fastcharging is good also.

I'm not only concerned about fast charging, but how it will affecct the battery's short and long-term life.

Will it discharge quicker (when used or not) and will the battery last as long as a normal rechargable?

Then of course there's the small matter of over-heating and exploding.

If this turns out to be true, it will revolutionise the whole power and transport industry. Exciting times.
