Tried to click on the forum post for Home Run Solitaire and came up with this - Linkage

Nope. That's not right. It brought up an error message - black screen, white text. Dunno.

Is it still doing it?
Might’ve just been the site doing its daily backup..

Checked into the stats as much as I can, and there seems to be a few timed-out requests for "=61733" around about the time that the big database backup was happening.

There's not an awful lot I can do about that, I'm afraid. The "cron - Backup the database" thing takes about 45 seconds to complete, during which time any database requests fail horrendously.

It's a ludicrous amount of time, and was certainly a lot quicker on the old GoDaddy server. (About the only thing that was quicker!!)
I could, of course, disable the daily database backup. I'm fairly sure Zen must do decent backups service of their own. But after the abysmally crap backup-restore that GoDaddy gave us, I've opted to ensure I have complete control over all the backups.. Just in case!!!

(GoDaddy didn't even bother to backup the SQL.. What the fuck is the point of that!?!? ... And I was ACTUALLY PAYING EXTRA for the Backup service!!!!!)

No, you're probably right Jay. I maybe just accessed the site at exactly the time it was backing up. I should have screen-shotted the message, as I can't remember what it said now.

It wasn't a long wait before getting access again, so no real concerns. Just thought I'd report it anyway.

Can't you set the cron job to run at 4am or something when probably nobody would be using the site anyway?

Jay will be using it. Jay is a machine and doesn't sleep. But yeah, I thought that too. But perhaps it can't be set up like that?

I've got it set up to trigger only once I've visited the site 3 times, in the morning.
This means that I get a chance to halt it, if there's been a giant hack or something, which might corrupt the backup.
