I'm not a doctor who fan... But, you know what, for some strange reason I fancy watching this one! Hehehe

Me too...

I think it's a case of Doctor Who wouldn't?

It's all a bit Mork and Mindy...

Funny enough I thought that too, when I first saw her outfit.

She'd better have some acting chops, because the outfit looks neither old nor wise and I doubt the dialog will impart any of that either.

I would have gone more for a Lara Croft look.

On another note, is that just her face or have they told her to "try to look a bit gormless"?

Geese, what a bunch of depressing comments.

Embrace the changes people!!

Why? What next? Are the Daleks going to join Greenpeace? Will K-9 become a real dog? Will the TARDIS transform into a Glastonbury porta-loo?

Embrace the changes? No. The changes are fucking it all up.

Sylvester McCoy is a prime example of why EXTREME VETTING is a good idea for Dr Who actors. By comparison, a Bertie Bassett cyberman was a shrewd move.

McCoy is my favorite Doctor, despite appearing in mostly abysmal stories.

I've always been comfortable with the possibility of a female Doctor, I just think they couldn't have done it at a worse or more pandering time. Not to mention seeming unoriginal straightaway after Missy.

Also she looks like a bored housewife.

River Song would certainly not approve, as she would now need to regenerate and grow a penis.

Just read that the doctor's new mate is going to be Bradley Walsh. I like him on The Chase but he proved in Coronation Street that acting is not his forte.

He was also in one of those CSI type programmes. Didn't watch it, so can't say how good he is in that. Or Coronation St.
