Black Friday Hype

Is anyone planning on buying something? In my country black friday never was a thing in the past but it has gotten more of a thing the last years.

I have some money on my ipad account that I can use for apps. I hope steinberg has a sale with their ios cubasis.

I am also looking around for anything interesting. A cheap ps4 or xbone maybe. Maybe even a new gaming laptop if it is at the right price.

Black friday is next friday.

It's all a con. I don't find things are any cheaper than in any other "sale" throughout the year.

I’m not a cheapskate, but I typically use Black Friday for browsing the oddities on Amazon, that are great for Xmas pressies!

Waste of time, almost everything in the 'sales' are reduced from their recently upped prices back to what they were a month or so ago. Everything else is usually just old stock that they can't sell the rest of the year.

The whole thing is embarrassing to watch - grown adults falling over themselves and fighting in the aisles of Lidl over shitty Polaroid TVs that are much the same price as they've been all year.

It makes you wonder how the human race as evolved as far as it has.

When we first had a "Black Friday", over here, it did seem like you did get a bit of a deal on things in the shops...

Then retailers did what retailers do, they got greedy, discounts were shit, "Black Friday" then decided to have a bit of a rollover going off, then we had pre-black fridays... All the while, you saved next to nowt... It all got a bit pointless... And I was working in a shopping centre last year in Crawley, they geared up for it, like prementioned bollocks... And shoppers never turned up... William the centre manager said it was disappointing, taken into consideration we got kicked off the car park for it as well.

I saw the "Black Friday" deals at the centre... They were shit... If I lived there, I wouldnt be arsed to go either!

A study... study!!!

Someone got payed to “study” the deals on Black Friday and found it was on most part a load of shite!!!

Fucking hell... they’ll be studying woods next wondering if they are made up of trees!!!

Or studying the sea to see if it has water in it!!!

You don’t need to study nowt... it was blatantly obvious it was just hyped shite... like it was that in your face it was an elaborate scam just to draw shoppers in!

Studied... fucking hell... heard it all now!

So in August, Playstation Plus went up from £39.99/year to £49.99 a year.

Now, they're having a "Black Friday Sale" - 25% off, making it £37.49.

In the real world, that's a whopping Black Friday saving of.... £1.50!

Fuck my life...
