FPS Engine Demo - Created by magicman (Rating 75%)
A demo of my FPS engine, complete with loads and loads of bugs, crappy graphics, and more!
| | I have been working on this on and off for a while, its still pretty basic, but i think i could make a game out of it, weather i will or not i dont know, but its an idea. The controls and other stuff are in the Readme. ENJOY! | |

Vote : 4 | Wow. I'm quite impressed magicman! I actually had fun walking around and blasting the little zombies, and that explosion, woah! I had expected there to just be a few zombies and that was it, but when i turned that corner and the blast went off, well, let's just say i wasn't expecting it. Keep it up!

| Scared me a bit too. It's a really good demo. I especially liked the machine gun, and I also noticed the little spiders. That was a nice touch.

| Hey, I tried your demo - pretty cool!
I noticed the explosion too, and it was suprisingly authentic. The bazooka explosions were very laggy on my PC though.
Good to see a little bit of a physics engine - a lot of modern games cut that part out, while many 5 year-old games are many thousands of times better because of investing the time in making one.
Good luck with this project, magicman!

| thanks! im surprised that the explosions are laggy, they run fine on my computer just as long as you dont have a bunch of them going off at the same time. yep, im working on a physics engine thing that could be going better, did you do the whole pick stuff up and move it? theres still games that have good physics engines, half-life 2 for example has an amazing physics engine. thanks again.

| haha
sorry....I was just joshing with ya.
just joking with you.
I thought it was going to be both
a scary and weird ride in the first levels
of Dantes Inferno.
With loads of demonic bugs to battle, crappy graphics to
see and ocntend with, and no source code available...
you have to find the source code inorder to
improve the game and gameplay and then escape.
hmmmm...sorta like and similar manner to that ole
RPG called Escape From Hell by EA.
