Jayenkai	Last year we all had an exciting quiz, as we desperately struggled to figure out what the hell all those stupid little piddly "Star Wars" models were supposed to be. Didn't help that I'm not actually that much of a Star Wars fan to begin with. As such, this year I've opted to go with the less baffling "Lego City" range, whereby I should hopefully be able to hazard a guess as to what the hell half of the little bits and pieces are supposed to be. Join me, as I open each door, and post photos of the contents! If you have this year's Star Wars calendar (or even the Lego Friends one!!!?), feel free to post a suitably silly companion topic. rockford	LOL. Just discovered my wife bought a LEGOish (but DEFINITELY NOT LEGO) calendar for my son. He says he's too old for advent calendars, so I'll open it instead. Oh good. "Lots of models to make" and "Compatible with other leading brands" Be prepared for the horrors that lurk. the front isn't too promising... I'm going in - door #1, where are you? Wow, that door was nailed shut pretty tightly. I think I'll bring a saw next time. However, the anticipation of what's behind door #1 is killing me. What could it be? What could it be? Fuck all. It's empty. Great start. I'm sure all the little kiddies will be happy. Not only is it definitely not LEGO, it's also definitely not bloody there. Hmmmm. Maybe with the box being shaken in the bag on the way home the packet will be found behind another door. That'll be worth waiting for. Can I sue under the Trades Description Act? - "Model pieces behind every door" That's just ruined my Christmas now. As if having a definitely not LEGO set wasn't bad enough. \|edit\| For the hundredth time. My wife persuaded me to find the "Model pieces behind every door" so I did. And here they are - Ummm. WOW!!!! I don't think I could have been any more impressed if it had been the back end of the horse.

rockford	That's reet nice that is. Unlike mine. I got a girl (or a gay guy, I really can't tell) - wearing hair in the style of a crash helmet. Certainly a case of Number 2 here... But still, possibly better than yesterday's errr thing. But only by a whisker. Roll on day #3.

rockford	The girl's hair actually has a life of it's own. You pop it firmly on her head and it then jumps off and rolls around the floor. Just like real life then. Where's Ashens Day 2?

Lego Dog's feet are positioned in such a way, and with little gaps, so that he clips onto regular Lego blocks! He is 3x1 sized. 3. Lego Dog has a giant lump on his back. rockford	My (real) dog has a lump on his back too, so maybe it's quite common? Anyway, I got wood Soon to be firewood once all the needles fall off. Anyway, they're flouting advertising laws again - "Model pieces behind every door" That's "pieces" as in plural. One tree is not pieces.
