Hotshot	I have try on Allegro 5 and I am just one away from running the program but keep saying cannot open allegro-5.0.1-monolith-md-debug.lib The allegro-5.0.1-monolith-md-debug.lib is in Additional Dependencies it just one things to solve the problem

rockford	Many years ago I spent a fair few hours to get Allegro working. I failed miserably - some stuff worked while other stuff didn't for no obvious reason. Hopefully help is better nowadays and you'll be up and running in no time. I can't help but think that there are many better development packages available now though...

Hotshot	I know what you mean. There also SMFL, Monkey X and the rest! I am baffled by why this keep saying "cannot open allegro-5.0.1-monolith-md-debug.lib" when I have been told put allegro-5.0.1-monolith-md-debug.lib is in Additional Dependencies p.s. where the Emotion icons when I can express my feeling!

Hotshot	IF you download Visual Studio 2012 then open Project then find SMFL Packages then it does everythings for ya instead of messing about putting including files and lib files somewhere in the complier or linker... thankfully, you dont have do that! Then you click run and you see windows with colours screen. using SFML.Graphics; using SFML.Window; namespace SFMLApplication1 { public static class Program { private static readonly Color CornflowerBlue = new Color(100, 1, 37); public static void Main(string[] args) { RenderWindow window = new RenderWindow(new VideoMode(1280, 720), "SFML Window"); window.Closed += (sender, eventArgs) => window.Close(); while (window.IsOpen()) { window.DispatchEvents(); // TODO: Insert Update Code Here window.Clear(CornflowerBlue); // TODO: Insert Draw Code Here window.Display(); } } } } --v The only downside is C# SMFL had lack of Document which suck because much easier than C++!
