Could've done with those after my ops. Trying to eat soup was a bloody disaster!!!

My hands still shake, but only a little.
.. And home soup is much thicker than hospital soup..

I nursed someonw with Huntingtons Disease (formerly Huntington's chorea). The tremors are horrendous and just get worse - watching someone eat, while shaking and making a total mess of themselves and the area, while barely getting anything in their mouth, is heart-breaking.

For Google to help develop something like this is simply amazing - now lets see more good come from their billions.

I have a friend with essential tremors. But she can't afford the price of the spoon which is a shame. Should probably do some sorta fund thing for her really.

Actually that's a very good point - it's all very well having this tech, but if it's priced out of the reach for people that need it, then it's pointless.

Hopefully, as with all tech, the price will come down to actually affordable.
