Is there anything more depressing than filling in a disability form, and making a list of all the things you're no longer able to do...?

An unemployment advice centre would fill that out for you.

And always remember to photocopy the form after it's filled out, that makes it easier if you get refused and need to appeal.

I can handle filling it out, that's easy due to how completely fucked up I am!!
It's just that ... Writing it all down like that.. It's very depressing seeing it all in a big list of "can't do"s, like that...

ATOS, or whoever does the accessments now, are complete bastards though Jay. My brother in law found that one out and yet he's virtually immobile due to a stroke he had quite a few years back.

That's what the unemployment centres and appeal board are there for, that's why Cameron and his tosspots want those help services abolished.

Iain Duncan-Smith should try working for a living instead of getting paid to talk shit.

It can't be that hard to become a politician, only requirement is the abillity to speak complete and utter bollocks.

Fuck me, if only we could all get a six-figure income through talikng bullshit!

Yup, I'm fully expecting them to claim I'm fit for work :/

*just in case*
Dependent on the results of my assessment, the site might return to the cheaper shared hosting, until I can afford the fancy dedicated hosting again!!

I have to fill out these forms with the people I work with- they really are a pain in the arse. I think they are desgined to be as annoying as possible to deter people from completing them.

Which ones are you completing ESA, PIP? If you were previously on DLA that might still be available if it's within 12months of your last claim (or something).

Yeah, PIP. Fun :\

Probably a bit late now, but make sure that you complete it based on your WORST possble day, not your average day. This was advice given to staff by a social worker, many years ago. Your average day or good days could soon become your worst days and completing a form then would be impossible and even if you did, it would take a while to re-assess.

Chin up.

Yup, don't worry. Already been through this a couple of years ago.
As good as the good days might be, they're annoyingly a rarity..
