For most of this week, I've been freaking out about the need to go to the local health centre for my physio appointment.
I've managed it a few times, in the past few months, but this month has been pretty grim, health wise.
I've not been walking much, and the prospect of a taxi ride to the health centre wasn't high on my list of things I was wanting to do.
Never the less, Friday came and the taxi ride happened without a hitch. The physio appointment was the usual exercise/motion based stuff, and the woman seemed confident that I'm making a recovery, even if it is a little step at a time.

About an hour before the taxi arrived, I realised what it was that I was forgetting to do on a Friday...

Spinal's finally finished converting a PS2 controller to work on an OUYA.
I can't even begin to imagine the amount of work that's gone into this project. .. I think I've probably opened about 3 controllers in my life, and they were all old-skool joysticks!!.. And I never managed to repair a single one of them!!!

; Threes
Threes is a wonderful little game, and is a great example of minimalism working towards the game, as opposed to against it.
The guys that developed it spent months working on the look and feel of the game, and although a lot of work went into it, the end result it amazingly simplistic.
In fact, it's so simplistic, that within a few short days of the game being released, a bucketload of clones started to flood the world of Mobiles, and continue to do so to this day.
It's a real shame that all that hard work and effort is being undone by the fact that the end result is a game so well defined that it makes itself a prime candidate for clones.

This is essentially the story of Flappy Bird, except with a good game!!

Erebel55 worries that his link to another forum may be misconstrued as spam.
I've never been one to worry about that kind of thing.. Well, not unless you ARE doing it for the sake of Spam!! If you're simply doing it because you'd rather keep all answers confined to a single topic, then that's fair enough.
..especially on forums that don't have sidebars, so you have to keep refreshing the entire forum every ten minutes to see if anyone's answered or not.
