Politics and religion are typically out of bounds at SoCoder, but when so,etching big and important is happening, I usually leave a "this thread will close" thread open for a few hours.
Today, we had one open for most of voting day.
This is why we don't have threads like this!!
Even I found it hard to keep my ranting voice from being heard.
The general rule of these kinds of things is that we all grew up at different times, in different eras, and in different circumstances.
No single view is "right", and we all have different ways of looking at the same thing
But for some reason, politics and religion bring out the worst in us.
You never seem to see the same layers of passion about the formatting of arrays, or the best way to do a for loop, or whether you should count from 0 or 1..
But make a thread about a little vote, and all hell breaks loose!!

A good AI relies heavily on it knowing where it can and can't move within the world.
It's nice to have a standard set of movement through your game, so that all characters, both player and otherwise, react to the world in the same way.
