How long before the tinfoil hatters say that this is an Anunnaki spaceship! Linkage

I think it looks like a floating turd myself.

It's amazing though, that however it was created, it ended up being that shape, then managed to stay that shape for millions of years, without being hit by anything big enough to break it apart, before ending up here.

It's not normal for a rock resulting from an explosion or collision to be anything other than roughly the same size in all dimensions.

Also amazing that they think it came from another star - not kicked out from the Kuiper Belt like most asteroids we know of.

Yeah, but like you say, everything we "normally" see is generally spherical'ish in nature.
This looks like it's been formed by maybe and eruption of sorts.
Perhaps a giant collision that spewed a tower of crap, which formed a big floaty-poop.

Maybe a giant asteroid hit a planet full of people, and this is them collectively crapping themselves...?

My first thought was that it's some sort of metamorphic rock which because of the way it's formed, can be split into long shards. That way a long fragment like that could easily be split off a bigger object by a relatively small impact in the right place.

These selfish interstella smash ups... They should be more careful, that thing will have someones eye out!
