Making good use of a tweaked edition of this, I slapped together a nice playable little shoot-em-up.
What else could I have done with 'em!?

Nice game and a great way to make use of the 4096 baddies.

The control set up screen was very nicely done. I might have to nick... I mean replicate this feature. I find myself thinking this is just the sort of thing puki would do...(shudder).

The only thing is that since we're not paying a quarter for each game play, an auto-fire option is the way to go. Not mini-gun fast, and not as fast as pressing the button manually, but something to reduce RSI.

Only 2 bullets onscreen at once, old-skool!
But yeah, hold it and it'll keep firing for you..

It's a great game, and the dropping debris makes it all the more challenging. But I think it's just a little too easy to gain lives. Maybe a sort of modification which shows when you'll get your next life, and increasing that score gap each time. So, the first extra life you get at 10000, the next at 25000, third at 45000, and so on.

And I'd like to suggest clickable difficulties, since I was confused the first time, realising that you had to use the cursor keys to select them.
