I have decided to restart my ds movie player project, mostly because the code is a mess and it still doesn't work correctly.
If anyone has not yet see it, there are some entries in my blog I think.
Anyway, I want to completely re-do all of the gfx for the player, currently that's, background, buttons (play/pause, stop, skip back, skip forward, mute, file browser), the progress bar and whatever else might pop up later. For the style, I'm hoping for something simple but not too plain, like the youtube video player, or the last.fm mp3 player. Very clean.
Anyway, if anyone is quite good at gfx and won't mind doing something for free, or if anyone has any ideas for features, or could help with any of the technical side of the project (coding etc.) please speak up. I really would like to hear from you guys.

I've made every button but the mute button. Note I don't have another set of "pushed down" buttons
I'm just doing this for fun.

its a good start yo, but I was hoping for something a little more like the youtube player, or some of the smoother media player skins. Keep up the good work though.

Tried to come up with a nice simple background, but it either seemed too busy or too dull.
Seems to work best with dark backgrounds.
Something like that.. Maybe recolor it, or something.

nice, could you add some sort of background, preferably not too tall, I only intend to use the top of the touch screen, around 64 pixels(doesn't have to be exact). Also how about ones for the open/browse button (for selecting files) and volume etc?

Right size, wrong place 
Spinal's got the player going on the top screen, and the buttons on the lower one.
..
Maybe it would work on the bottom, like that, though. You could use the rest of the touchscreen to hold file info, and maybe the file browser..

the old version looks like this...
old version page at neoflash
the blue bar on the right is part of the drop-down file selector so part of the bar is transparent. Thats also what I meant by background, a sort of bar that the whole thing sits on. Jay was correct to, the bar will most likely be at the top of the lower screen.

I do like Pheonix's idea of putting the buttons on the bottom of the touchscreen, though. It kinda looks a little better. With it being at the top, it looks like there's a big empty gap below the player.
