"and a publishing deal!" was what put me off the last time.
That'd be nice, and all, but I'd imagine it'd take away from AGameAWeek!
|moan| Note that this was already in the shoutbox, it probably should've been a link, and Phoenix could also have edited the frontpage's "Wed Workshop" thing to put the compo back to where it was the last time. |moan|

Swarmer, who initially decided to attempt AGameAWeek but managed only one game, entered the last one of these.
His game Storm came in second.. or third.. damn, can't remember..
2nd.. Check his blog here

Sorry Jay, I actually contemplated editing the WW spot and adding the competition there, but I wasn't sure so I just dropped it into the shoutbox.
If the publishing deal is putting you off, then I'm sure you can hire an AGameAWeek stand-in with the $10,000 you also get
Afr0, I don't think XNA is allowed, considering this quote:

Yeah I saw that, but the rules state the following:
Games may run on PCs, MACs and/or web browsers. Games developed for PCs or MACs must have an automated install or uninstall routine if installation is necessary to play the Game. Games played via web browsers must run in the latest versions of both Internet Explorer and Firefox, and may use the latest versions of the Flash, Java, Director, Unity, and Virtools plug-ins, if desired.
I think they only mean XNA games developed for the XBox.

@Afro: Make it like the legend of zelda- the original games- top view, get to the edge of the screen and it scrolls. |

I wonder why a game collector would break into EA's headquarters, though. | | |

Here's my entry so far (not done yet!)
If you're unsure whether you have the latest DirectX and/or XNA Framework installed, download my professional grade MSI installer here!
The installer leaves an uninstall option in the 'Add or Remove Programs' section of your Control Panel.
For all you others, the cheapo, not so professional version is here!
If you have any suggestions apart from sound (I'm still thinking about what sounds I might put in!), please let me know!

I'm very very very very very disappointed by this.
There's nothing worse than shifting deadlines.

Those who have rushed, and worked their hardest (you included) now get screwed over by those who took their time.
