Or use this, build a new framework, and then write AGameAWeek for Windows, Mac, Linux, Browser, iOS, Android, WindowsPhone7 and XBox.
!?

How are things audio wise?
I'm really very tempted to pick this up, Right Now!!! But I know I'd have to sit here and recode all of my lovely framework stuff. That's going to take SO long!!
I think, rather than jumping head first, I'll take my time with the HTML one, make everything juggleable, and then buy it and go a bit crazy!

ps, your game is now the first game that's actually managed to successfully run on my bag-o-shit cheap-ass android phone!
Not even AngryBirds ran!
(HTC Wildfire, 320x240 res, .5Ghz!)

The screen res and the CPU was why I didnt get the Wildfire and decided on the LG Optimus One (still cheap, 320 x 480 res and 600Mhz CPU).
Ive uploaded a new version which is now fullscreen and landscape.
Audio wise... dont know yet Ive only tested Mark's sample...

redmoth Does anyone have the same problem with the games in HTML5 as me?
In that if I push the 'down' key, it also moves the screen down and vice-versa with the 'up' key?
Whereas the flash versions (such as the one shown above) have no such problem if you click inside the window.
I get this too on most HTML5 games, but I've fixed this on PlayMyCode. Even if the game is embedded on another site!

Ugh. Well, that's a sticky wicket.
On the one hand, many of my plans involve recoloring.
On the other hand, if it's something you just plain can't do with Android or HTML5 or whatever, I would have had to (further) rethink my plans anyhow.
Is it just an oversight of Monkey or a limitation of one or more of the targets?
(also, I can't find a quote button anywhere...does everyone type them in manually?)

Yes, we all type our quotes manually.
HTML5 can't apply colours when drawing.

Recoloring images is coming soon, it just didn't make it into the launch phase. Or so I've been told.
(Coming to Monkey, that is. Not to HTML5. At least not that I'm aware of.)

There are ways around like, like manually going through all pixels and there are some tricks using secondary canvas's. But it's not going to be as fast as having it built into the browser.

Gonna have to go through my old Blitz stuff...
Man.. No recolouring!! That means no lovely multicoloured Neonplat floors, no Blockman mazes, needing 2 sets of sprites for 2 players....
Feck.....

@redmoth - what browser do you use?
@Jay - yeah not being able to colour images suck! I guess you could create a mask image and draw that on top of your normal image with an alpha value... but still!!!
