Don't know what to say, other than hope you get well soon!
Also, if you're on drugs, please try to stop. Drugs and medication usually isn't a good match. Or drugs and surgery. Etc. (I'm speaking from experience)

Drain in to flush out goop, then they're not sure if they'd still need to go back in for whatevers left.
