Wow, I'm really glad it's not cancer. I imagine that's a huge relief, whatever actually caused it.
I've hunted all over for a "Get well soon" card that didn't assume you were an alcoholic student who fell over and broke their leg (WTF card companies?) and finally found one today.

@Ben: Were those sold at a shop in the vicinity of a uni or somewhere? I've never encountered them in shops when I've looked...

It's basically a 10 minute video by Michael Moore showing how supreme Norway is compared to the rest of the world (especially the US) when it comes to things like healthcare, standard of living, taking care of the environment etc.
It ended up being so "scary" that he couldn't include it in Sicko (because noone from the US would have believed him!)

Another day sitting.
Gotta admit, its starting to get a little boring in here..
I think it was easier with the Codine knocking me out, but I've asked them to stop the Codine, now.. essentially I'm now just sitting here without anything to do, and nothing to keep me sleeping.
This may not be a good combination..
No matter, carry on...
The odd bubble of Goo is still in my neck, and seems to grow at night, then dissipate through the day.. no idea if that's normal, but the docs don't seem to be concerned about it.
Looking forward to getting home soon...
Really hope I do.
