All hamsters and mouses bite me even when claimed not to bite by the owner; parrots, lovebirds and budgies seem to like sticking the beak in too. | |

Best thing is to try not to smell like food. Wash your hands before handling and you stand a better chance. But usually, just handling them a lot when they're still young works the best.

4 sugar gliders (Australian flying squirrels)
4 fish (goldfish and a golden tench)
1 pygmy hedgehog (these things really fecking stink!)
2 budgies
