OS X! Argh!! -- make alias of folder, rename alias, drag alia to favorites sidebar, name reverts to original folder name! -- rename favorites shortcut = rename original folder, not the label in the favorites folder, where the hell is the logic in that!!!

Solution: (almost) -- rename the folder, make alias, drag alias to sidebar, rename original back. -- returns to original name after rest though.
Danm you apple, I don't want a bunch of shortcuts called 'documents', how the hell am i to know the difference!

You should see the state of mine! You daren't click "documents" lest you be bombarded by 100s of half forgotten audio conversion files from Cardagain and Stringy Things!!
