I’ve just just pre-ordered my Raspberry Pi computer 5 minutes ago, only just got my invite today, now gotta wait upto 11 weeks for it to arrive. |

I did also get a purchase invite from Farnell UK but the system did 404 on me when I submitted my address and debit card detals. I tried to find a contact button on their website but could not find the button anywhere so RS Components have now got my money instead. |

I read somewhere that they aren't manufacturing Model A at the moment, I don't know why they would need to either considering that there's only a few quid price difference.
|edit| On the other hand, I if a school or organisation is ordering a few hunded units then I suppose that those few hundred few extra quids would soon add up. |edit|
|edit| But if I remember correctly, computers in schools were usually connected to some kind of network even in the 1980s so Model B would probably prevail over Model A in an educational environment. |edit| |
