Dear OS X paint software creators. Grab a windows PC, play about with PSP7, copy it, add proper text support, wollop! best paint app ever in the history of paint apps!

Have it running in virtualbox, the whole point of getting a mac was to use OS X.

I use Photoshop and Pixelmator. Oddly enough, they're about equal for the things I do. (I paint everything, which is usually a foreign concept to most folks using image editing software, since they just use vectors, filters, and layer effects.) |

Cant afford photoshop, pixelmator is ok, but I find the precision of the pointer to be absolutely dreadful.
My current method = fire up windows in virtualbox, use psp7 for the pixeling and stuff that I can't get pixelator to do, such as pattern-fill. then swap into pixelmator for text layers. unfortunately, after adding text, there is no way back once a text layer is added
