Still no date for new Dr Who or Red Dwarf!! I’m sick of waiting! It’s almost as bad as being stuck in hospital for 6 months!!! (well, ok, maybe not that bad, but still!)
Over at reddwarf.co.uk, they've got a nice big wide photo of the new bunk set. Different yet again! Looks nice, though, and with any luck it'll last a good couple of series, (he says, hoping there's more in the future!)
That's no trailer! Seen it before, it's not that bad, to be honest. It suffers from the typical "trying to do the exact same jokes with a completely different cast" issue that most US remakes seem to fail at. New cast should mean new scripts, but for the most part that didn't happen. A shame.
Ron and Doug tried to fix it, but in the end it just didn't work out.
There's a whole documentary about it on one of the Red Dwarf DVDs.. I think it's the Series III one..?
The first of the Pond Life clips is up. Basically a mini adventure/jokey thing to keep you busy until Saturday. Today's is less than a minute long! Blimey! linkage
Must be the iApp playing up. Pond Life episode 4 seemed to take a worrying amount of time to appear on the YouTube search! It's turned up, this morning. Pond Life 4
BBC America is speeding up the episodes to fit in more commercials. If they do this during the actual premiere, I'm going to hunt down whoever is in charge of the nonsense and kill them in their sleep.
That episode was not actually that bad. I quite liked it. It had plot and twists and cleverness in it for a change. I hope there are more like that to come...
'Dinosaurs in space' NEVER MIND

As in playing it faster or cutting bits out? Cos that is really crazy. I've never understood why Americans put up with having so many commercials relative to the amount of actual programming; particularly when half of them seem to be adverts for strange medication with 60 seconds of verbal small print explaining all the side effects.

They're playing it at, like, 1.2x or 1.3x speed. It's impossible to watch.
It airs in five hours over here, but I might just obtain it before that and try to watch it at a proper speed. Keeping my sanity is generally a good idea.
