Yeah, I can understand the "Some people already have it" mentality, but .. bloody 'ell, it soon mounts up.

£350 for the VR set, plus £50 for the camera, plus £250'ish for the PS4, and you'll probably want a couple of Move controllers, too, at £30 a pop.

It's still (AFAIK) the cheaper option for VR, though. And if you already have a couple of those parts, it'll work out even cheaper.
I expect there'll be a "Complete VR in a box" bundle before we hit the holiday season.

I'm still not sure it's a good idea, with my motion sickness, though.
