I read somewhere that they aren't manufacturing Model A at the moment, I don't know why they would need to either considering that there's only a few quid price difference.

[edit]On the other hand, I if a school or organisation is ordering a few hunded units then I suppose that those few hundred few extra quids would soon add up.[/edit]

[edit]But if I remember correctly, computers in schools were usually connected to some kind of network even in the 1980s so Model B would probably prevail over Model A in an educational environment.[/edit]
