Socoder -> Film + TV -> Flushed Away....

my sister and I went to the show over at the Oakridge Century 20 last night and saw this Toilet Tale.

I won't give anything away but I say two things about it:

first, mousey really loved those singing slugs. I mean talking sewer slugs is one thing...but with them singing.
Now, that can be funny at times. And to show and move the love interest with two or major characters who happen to be rats.

and secondlly: although the story was basic and simple and had a lot of crude humor, the details to the backgrounds were really awesome and detailed. Even my sister couldn't believe this. The objects, the structures, the textures and the wire meshes as well. And it shows...and when the credits were shown at the end with a numerous listing of animators, modellers, surface and texture designers.
I even liked the fluid physics and methods on the slugs and other creatures too.

And on a side note on the post show afterwards: the House of Dead 4 arcade machine was down but yet, my sister and I played Area 51. We made it thru all the way from the ever-increasing difficulty levels of all the field exercises and then the whole game itself...and on 7 dollars of tokens too. Which is really good. Last time it was 10 dollars of tokens.

Flushed Away is on my list of movies I need to see, along with Borat, and Pixar's Ratalo...Rattatooli...no, umm, *googles* Ratatouille!

Don't see Borat unless you are very comfortable with your sexuality and you don't mind seeing fat naked men wrestle with tall skinny naked men. And that you don't mind seeing every part of the male anatomy.

ack!!!,

I'd rather watch the teletubbies make love on PBS
or better...watch again the awful and low budge movies of
Manos: Hands of Fate, Hillibillies in a Haunted House, and Tank Girl, and Hobgoblins. A four bad movie marathon.

but seriously Instinct,

I do like to see The Prestige.

also when I go to the movies...nowadays and with the high prices the movie better be at least average or better. And the buttered popcorn tastes good too. true.
hey!! $3.25 for a bottled water! Thats what one guy said at the show when my sister and I were standing in line to buy our refreshments.

Puttin' On the Ritz,

I saw a coming attraction of it.

It looks good and has that 1960's look to it.
I might consider this one as well...also for a backup movie too. In case, if I'm late in getting to see the movie The Prestige or its filled up with a lot of people.
oh yeah....Eragon too. I want to see that one to. Forgot about that one.

I'll take my slushy shaken too.
