I agree with you on not trusting the 'cloud'. Having you information stored somewhere else would make it all available to prying eyes.

I've not been a fan of the idea of Cloud, mostly because I have the eerie feeling that the company's going to screw you over with subscriptions and shit, just as you've gotten used to using the damned thing. Grrr.. In addition, my Notes on my iPod seem to be doubling up, about once every month. Random copies of each note, all inexplicably "just there". Cloud gaming I think will be absolutely terrible for anyone who has any sense of 'value for money'. I don't want my ability to play my fav games completely dependent on a monthly subscription, or faith that the service wont just vanish forever. I play old games more than new ones. If the whole world turns 'cloud', as the media companies are trying to push on everyone, there will never again be 'old' games to play. If I buy a game, I wan't to keep it forever, especially if the company that sold me it vanishes. -=-=- Check out my excellent homepage!
