Stealth	I take back what I said on it's stability. One of my tabs locked up yesterday, the rest were goners. The whole thing crashed. And flash sucks on it. And I am surprised typing :% crashes it. That is odd. But it's fast and I still love it. keeps it as default -=-=- Quit posting and try Google.

blanko1324	I wasn't even going to try it out until I read this post. I haven't bothered to read any articles on it or anything. But then figured, what the hell, I'll use it for a day. -It freezes up every once in a while, but only for a few seconds. I guess that's to be expected for a browser so early in its life. -I like it; feels clean for the most part. I really like the way it displays current downloads at the bottom. -Incognito windows are very cool. I still think I'll be sticking with Firefox. I mean...I have a shirt; I can't just leave it. \|edit\| Ok, Chrome is already starting to get on my nerves. JL235	I've heard that both Google Chrome and FF 3.1 are faster then Opera, but even if it's true I wouldn't be surprised if that's not for long.

HoboBen	I ran one of the benchmarks which took ~ 2.8 seconds with Firefox 3.0 and Opera was only about 10 milliseconds faster. In fairness though, I'm still using 9.27 - I hear 9.5 is faster. @Jay - blimey! -=-=- blog \| work \| code \| more code

Stealth	Is it just me, or does anyone else worry about the sinister "Big Brother" nature of Google? I think people are far to paranoid. Google has always done the right thing, yet people are so quick to point the finger at them for being too watchful. Google isn't that powerful and they would be one of the last companies on my list to do something mischievous. -=-=- Quit posting and try Google.

But in the end though, given the choice between never using a Google service again and having complete privacy, I'd pick Google. I can hardly complain when I'm not forced to use it. Orion Pax	And just to add on, because I am bored and nothing else to do. Another great feature of chrome is its ability to create application shortcuts for you of the site your currently on. Its just a basic windows shortcut file set to it loads up the site straight into chrome without all the extra stuff around (tool bars and crap) and starts it like its, its own app. Plus it uses the same icon the website uses as the links icon. Not really a big deal but a nice and neat little feature.

It opens a new window that SUPPOSEDLY doesnt record history or keeps any info like cookies and stuff....doesnt leave a trace of anything other than the site knowing you were there. Sorta good too. If you dont want people in your house hold to know.

Jayenkai	You have to have visited youtube a couple of times before it figures out what you're aiming for. (You might even need to have it in your quick-search bookmarks.) It's not just for youtube, either.. works on all kinds of sites, so long as it knows where the search box is, and what format it likes the query sent in. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''
