Oh. If it does not crash then it is even more interesting. A kid mention d it in a tutorial video. I tried a free editor a while ago and that one crashed every time.

I might get it. Not to sure what the export/import codecs are. I really liked that windows film editor that came with windows 7 back then but they killed that.

Thing with kids making tutorial videos, they might be using an out of date and/or knock-off version.

But Vegas has always been my weapon of choice for video stuff.

Anyone know how it compares to premiere?

When i compared both about six years ago, Premier was slow, bloated and clunky. Vegas whups its ass.

But you're talking free, open-source stuff, vs full-featured production quality video editing software which normally retails for $100s, and is now $20.

If you have ANY use at all for video editing software, you'd be silly to not spend $20 on Vegas. Despite there been varying degrees of free software doing the rounds.

It's like; "No thanks I don't want a Ferrari for $20 - I have this pogo stick to get around on".
