BambooBasic

it really tested me that one... I had something silly like working on four different languages at the same time, across different OS's, building editors, it was a hard project, but I got to the other side and managed to finish it! Thats one I look back on and think to myself... I did okay there... For a plasterer!

Hmmm. I think it's gotta be the CMS that I developed over the years to run Refresh Creations from. I had a lot of people prefer that over wordpress during the years that I was being self-employed and it could handle pretty much whatever was needed from most people, be that e-commerce, forums, newsletters, blogs, etc.

The problem was that it was a bitch to maintain after nearly 10 years of iterations and everyone had something to make theirs unique to them, 3 years after closing #(well handing the over) the company I still know some of my older customers are using it which is kinda cool.

The one project I had the most fun creating, was NeonPlat Adventures.
A platform game level generator, with a calendar to organise levels, and 50 enemy characters each with their own unique motion paths, and each with a different powerup ability once captured. Bosses, bonuses, collectibles. It had EVERYTHING!!!

I had SO much fun putting all of that game together, and as crazy as it was trying to cram the whole lot into 2 months, it was still an amazing amount of fun to do.

...Then I released it and nobody played it, and it died on it’s arse.

Fuck sake...
