Kuron	No interest in joining discord, but if there was ever a chat here on the site again, I would plop myself in there and happily talk away. Like I said, I have missed it, but I was also one of the few using it back then. \|update\| -=-=- \|update\| Discord fractures the community, it is as bad as moving the forum posts to a reddit thread.

Kuron	Think I speak for all of us when I say NOBODY expects anything from you, especially site improvements/changes until you are well settled in your new home and the hassle of the move is a memory. I missed it, but never mentioned it, as I figured I was probably the only one. As chaotic as my life has been where I have been extremely busy for many years, now I am more in a routine, I am home and have a more normal schedule. Even when working on stuff, I like to sit in a chat room, as well. Mentioned old friend Jerry in another thread, we sat and talked all day in the iBasic chatroom when I was doing work for a defense contractor. Before that it was sitting for hours in the DB chatroom while doing contract work. Discord is a mixed bag. I do not like joining a bunch of services. IRC was a bit different, especially when Opera had a built in IRC client. You like to joke about the code of SoCoder, but it is one of the most stable and secure sites I have ever been a member of. Part of why I use it for private notes and such, as you have outlasted a couple of "note" services. Your self-deprecating humor aside, SoCoder makes most forums and communities its bitch when it comes to stability and security.

Jayenkai	I've started work on a new iteration of the mudchat. It currently looks like the image above, but nothing as-of-yet has been functionally added to the site. The html is much neater than it used to be, though! All of the above is functional in only 78 lines of code.. Though, no doubt once I've added a bazillion functions, web callbacks, icons, and all of that, it'll get messy as all hell.. .. But for now, at least, it's neat enough. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

Jayenkai	Today's tweaks. Mudchat 1. Boop : Boop should work. Took me a while to get it to not mute my iPad's background music, but I think it should be ok, now. 2. Logo : Because the Boop wouldn't work without a "first interaction" thing. 3. Theme : Because who doesn't love a marginally better theme in a Mudchat!? 4. "Enters the Mudchat" : Because that was a bit odd, not having that! I also spam-protected that, so it doesn't double up if you refresh, or come back later when nobody else has entered. Is that all I did, today? Because, damn, that took forever! I blame CSS for most of today's difficulties!! -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

Jayenkai	Today's upgrades.. (You may need to refresh to see them all) Smilies I've converted these to plain emoji, because my code got all kerfuddled!! Linkable Chatlog Mostly functional. Gets a bit wibbly wobbly towards the early part of the chat log, but you should be able to click on the little left-side timestamp thing, and it'll open up the matching result in the logs. There's no auto-scroll thing, though, so you'll only get the 30 log events either side of the thing you've clicked. .. You can click the timestamps inside the log page to move through it, though. eg ok.. seems working.. I still need to tweak the log output a little, for BBCode and whatnot, but .. kinda works Beep - Volume There's now 0/1/2/3 in the volume button icon. It currently defaults to 3. I haven't yet cookie'd the setting. Active user list Up at the top should be a list of current users. After 2 minutes, they're dropped from the list. Kuron	Other than helping you test the other day, I can't think of another time in my life I have ever used drag and drop for anything, or any app, or any OS or any situation. Mainly because I always have shit fullscreen and it is very difficult to drag and drop between two fullscreen windows.

Kuron	For a house, I would have no windows or as few as possible. That was a major issue Carolyn and I Had when trying to find our new house. Minimal number and minimal size of windows. Do not want to be in a fishbowl, and all those fancy big windows, somebody has to clean them. Never been big on the sunlight blaring in as it hears the house up too much. In an emergency, I am not exiting a window, I am KOOL-AIDing through the wall.
