Cube Desserts

They opened our local Cube restaurant about 2 years ago, and I've always wanted to go in, but never felt good enough for outdoors eating.
Fuck it. Time to order some in!

The size of the containers had roughly about 2/3rd a Ben and Jerry's tub, but the full price of one.
I normally only buy a B&J when it's on offer at £3 rather than the full £5, so.. yeah, they're a tad expensive.

But this was a treat.
Mum used to run out to the ice cream van once a week for herself, and has started to miss doing so.. When she said, today, how much she'd been missing it, I felt like.. .. maybe I should treat her.

Pricey, but happy!
And given our current takeaway expenditure has gone from about £20 a week to. Um.. zero.. Yeah, that's ok!!

I normally order these in boxes of 24 for about £12, but due to corona panic, the boxes are down to 5 packs for about the same price!!

Instead, I got the smaller "pot noodle" sized pack.

Tastes Like..

A lovely snack!
They're really quite spicy, and are full of flavour.
The noodles in the pot-packs are about half as thick as the packet-packs, which is a shame.

I still have about 10 or so packet-packs left from the last batch, and we'll be using those for stir fries. One single pack goes nice between the two of us, with oodles of fried peppers, mushrooms, onions, and a bunch of flavourings.
So the packets will be "rationed" to stir-fries, and the smaller pot-snacks will do for hunger times.

Amazon keyword "Nong Shim" will find all manner of these. Like I say, the packets are nicer thicker noodles, but the pots are alright, too.

Fuxake.
No sooner do we get addicted to our local "Cube Desserts" (the lovely ice cream at the top of this thread) ...
They've only closed for Ramadan...!

Bah, humbug!!
