 		Isn't Meta part of Facebook? So even though you don't get an account from facebook dot com itself, you still register with the company.

But (apparently) if your Facebook account gets locked/deleted/etc, you "should" no longer find your Quest is inaccessible, which is what happened previously.

.. Though we'll have to wait and see if that's the case. They'd still be linked, so I expect those kinds of issues will still happen.
