Gimme Five!

I'm about to start work on an updated version of Letter Lattice for iOS, but I need groups of words to fit into the thing.
If you want to help out, this is your chance!!

All I need is 5 words and a description.
Each word can be up to 12 letters long, and all five words should fit into some kind of group..

eg Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Sulu, Scotty : Star Trek
or Pigeon, Canary, Budgie, Parrot, Eagle : Birds
