UpsWhat did you get done this week.Did everything turn out as planned? In the electronics project, Kinda. I got my new multimeter earlier than expected (woo!) So that allowed me to mess around with seeing if everything was properly powered. I used a 9v alkaline to test the rig, but sadly it died within 5 minutes- was dropping a voltage every 30 seconds due to the amount of drain from servos  Have to find a way to prevent that...TimelineFX is pretty amazing - it's a particle engine thing for blitzmax where every parameter is graphed out. It makes for some pretty spiffy effects, although is not freeware, so pfeh. As for modeling, I picked up wings since i heard about it from many many people. I like it a lot since i do a lot of extrusion modeling. It seems pretty intuitive although some things are a little dodgy - How do you assign materials / UV maps? DownsWhat didn't you get done?Why not? A little lax on money right now- Housemates car was hit by lightning, which screwed up the electrical. Going to help him out since he's my only way for transport The power reg requires a few decent capacitors that i can't seem to find. All of the ones i've attempted so far are too low in capacity to power the more mechanical stuff. As for my server, it's like a library after a hurricane - You don't want to go in there and look for a book :/ NowWhat are you working on right now?Waking up, and getting ePSXe running on media center, since i want to take advantage of the big screen and sound system without some insane-o setup - we have enough wires as is. How's that going? Going good, actually. Pretty straight-forward and all. UpsWhat did you get done this week.Did everything turn out as planned? Hopefully, just got back from the letting agent after giving them my details. They need to do a check and get other things sorted before I can move in, but it should all pass a'ok. One good part is that everyone else has signed, so once I'm done and I sign that's it! Running was a little less then planned. I ran to another city and back (which takes about an hour) and did several short 20 minute laps. But haven't been able to do another 1 hour run as it was raining. DownsWhat didn't you get done?Why not? Just couldn't be bothered. Tbh I just wanted to waste some time and have a break after months of constant university work. NowWhat are you working on right now?A personal GWT project. I'm keeping the details hush hush until it's done and online. Directly now, I'm going on a run. That'll be good. How's that going? Good and bad. I think the idea is awesome and the project is tiny, but it's currently not compiling and I have no idea why (GWT does lots of black magic behind the scenes).
