rockford	Goggles can be dangerous - you can take someones eye out with a good throw! (Except the Empire's forces all had protective helmets on, but that's a minor thing to worry about if all you have is a spare pair goggles!)

rockford	Yay. A SnowTrooper. I always liked them (but always despised the KKK). Lucas supposedly based pretty much all of the stormtroopers' gear on Nazi uniforms and helmets - so it's definitely not inspired by the KKK, despite obvious similarities.
