Dabz	Nurse has been out, I've had a shower, give the void a rinse, she's packed it up again, so, fingers crossed no dramas again! Really really want to sit at the PC and tinker... Dabz	Well... It's that time where I have another visit to the shower before the nurse comes... Forgot to mention I was in there yesterday and had to pull the packing out myself before she came... It comes out easier when soaking... It wasn't a pleasant experience, I felt like I was going to faint, hopefully that task will get easier, hopefully... Dabz	I'm sore, but it's a dull sore which I can manage... I've had paper cuts that hurt more then this amazingly... The only real pain I've felt through the process is when I was in hospital on Friday night and they were trying to get stitches in... That was 10/10 on the pain scale! The real killer is how uncomfortable I am, I cannot sit, obviously being laid down, that area compresses so doesn't matter which way I am I'm still pressing on it, which is uncomfortable as well... And the shower thing... Not only does surgical tape bond to arse hair like a fucking rare earth magnet on a fridge door... There is something slightly unnatural about poking your fingers inside your own body and pulling out squidgy lengths of stuff, and feeling it coming out... I was nearly out like a light again and had to have a couple of breathes to compose myself... Dabz	Well, I have no idea how it will shut itself up or if it will need a hand... I'm thinking that when it's filled itself up, they'll not pack it anymore and the skin will close itself up! On the how and why... Well, I banged my back a couple of years ago now, and it sorta came and went a couple of times... It never really give me any problems, then before I went on holiday last year, it came back and raged! It seems the bang was the cause of the hairs deciding to go in over... As I did hurt it... But it could be out! They put me on antibiotics, I was munching on them for a while, then they realised they had me on the wrong ones, so give me new ones, that was just before Christmas... But the infection had taken over then and penicillin wasn't touch it, though it was getting worse and worse, and hence why it is what it is... On the outside you could see it was infected, but just looked like a bruise... But obviously inside me the thing was tunnelling in there and why I've ended up with that! Dabz	Braved a walk to the surgery to get the packing done... Got sick of the district nurses whinging about when I'll be able to go, and their lack of supplies... Still haven't got my prescribed supplies yet... Only been off what... A week! :/ Also, there isn't a set time for them to come, so half the time I've been showered and laid on the bed with my arse pointing skywards for an hour... Booked a fortnight block, ranging from 9am-9.30am, which is great cos I can get up, cup of tea and a tab, showered and go straight down. So, went down, she's as good as gold, she's going to take swabs from the inside of it every few days... Because of the size and the amount of time it'll take to heal, it's obviously prone to infection, so, if it does show up, she's on it and I'll be on antibiotics yickety split! Also, the district nurses seem to have a face for every day... At least now one person will be able to monitor it! All in all...
