New mouse acquired! Picked up a Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum.

I also seem to have acquired a 1TB WD hard drive.

£65, though.. I don't think I've ever spent over £20 for a Mouse!!
My all-time favourite was a cheaptastic A4Tech mouse I got for £10. Lasted YEARS, that did!!
Eventually the wire got a little worn, so I had to switch, but of all my Mouses, that one was my favourite.

I love my wireless Microsoft Explorer laser mouse. So much so that when my last one died after repeatedely being knocked onto the floor, I HAD to get another.

@GfK How did you "acquire" the HD? Did it come with the mouse as a promotional offer or something?

I have that logitech mouse also. I tried the button that whn you hol it it switches to a different sensitivity. Sniping will never be the same

I got the mouse for free with the new lapop.

The back and forward buttons are anoying though when you are playing a game and press back accidently and the page is gone. Luckely there are obuttons to switch configurations.

The mouse software does have some bugs though. It has stopped working a few times.

@Jayenkai - G502 only cost me £52, from Maplin of all places - couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else.

@Rockford - I acquired it by impulse-buying it. Already have 500 + 120GB SSDs in my PC but I wanted an HDD to go with it, and all I have lying around is an old SATA which i think was 350GB... everything else in my crypt of crap was either smaller, and/or IDE.

@Pakz if you think the Logitech software is bad you should see Razer Synapse.... Jesus!!

I quite like this mouse so far. Feels good... nice and weighty, plus it comes with 5 x 3.6g extra weights if it just isn't heavy enough. I like the [optional] frictionless scroll wheel and it generally feels a lot better built than the Razer. Only thing I don't like so far is the Logitech logo constantly changing colour - that shit's gonna stop as soon as I figure out how.

Never really got on with mine. Bought a Kensington Orbit many years ago and It's just chucked in a drawer now.

I must admit, I'm managing alarmingly well with my laptop's trackpad thing.
I honestly never thought I'd be able to cope with just a trackpad, but.. Yeah, it's not as bad as I expected.

Only downside is it's absolutely bloody useless for games. You really need a mouse for games.

That's what I'm using, yesterday I swapped the red LED for a nice green one! Looks a bit mystical now, not as bright as the red, but good enough.
