Reason being blitzmax-ng is struggling on Galaxy S3 (android 4.3), everything else is fine!

If you fancy and have 5 mins, can you give it a whirl on your android device and report what your device is and if it runs or not!

Cheers

It's a bloody nuisance isn't it... Poor Brucey must be as sick as a chip with it... But give the man his due mind, he's ploughing through it!

Btw Dave... Does your device have Knox installed? It probably won't have any icons, you'll have to check running applications or something in settings.... Be under something like Samsung Knox!

Doesn't work at all on my phone (not an S3).

Comes up with an error message "Unfortunately, BlitzMax application has stopped"

Android 4.2.2

Any chance of a log Steve matey? Adb logcat or...

Dial *#9900#, change debug thingy from low to mid/high, device will probably restart, dial the above code again, run app, run dump state, then copy to a sd card... Once done, change debug back to low.... Copy new files on sd card in log folder (you'll see 2 files which are time stamped)

One will be a canny size like so may need to share that via Dropbox like service!

If you don't mind!

It usually drops it in a private folder one the device first, then you have to click copy to sd card, and it should move it too $devicename/log

OK, I've worked out how to do it now. Do I need to try running the app before or after choosing the debug level?
Sun, 08 Nov 2015, 05:06
Dabz
You have to:-

1) change debug level to mid or high
2) run app
3) run dump state
4) copy to sd card
5) change debug level back to low
6) go to the logs folder and the new dump state will be in there

Something like that, I'm not on a PC, just trying to collect data for the Brucester to look at!
