First they blame global warming on the industrial revolution, then they blame motor vehicles, now they're blaming the fucking trees. Linkage

I reckon it's all the cake I eat, and all the heat from the ovens that are used to bake them.

Know what I blame? Cow farts.

They'll be the death of us.

Yes, it's those pesky trees, what the hell are they smoking over there? Because I bet they've already banned that substance!

Well at the end of the day, its us that has caused extreme climate change...

I was reading the other day that humans have actually stopped the next ice age. Of course I dont believe every thing I read

Funny, because I read we could actually cause a new ice age due to fresh water melt diluting the ocean and [as an example] shutting down the gulf stream (Which as we know, is responsible for the Great British pissy weather), this stops the ocean circulating temperatures like it does, thus, the jet stream pulls south and temperatures tumble in the north, the equatorial areas will be baking, moisture will be sucked up into the atmosphere like its nobodys business, entropy takes hold and this warm moisture will surge up to the cold front, cold front will nearly always win and voila... A new ice age is born and lasts until the Earth sorts itself out, which, I'm confident it will as it's good at that sort of stuff.

This all makes sense in my mind because, well, half the reason we have had ice ages is because of atmospheric conditions changing, only difference this time is that we're the ones instigating it...

It's all part of one of the many cycles the Earth has, and, as a specis, it's not worrying if it does happen, since glaciers do exist on the planet, we can technically say we are still in one, if we spring one, well, we are tooled up enough to survive and manage, it will be hard, but, it's not going to be a planet killer episode, our species will still continue throughout it... Which brings the only moot point, because our species in numbers is so vast nowadays, and if the ice takes over (Again), then, yes, as a result, you cannot ignore the fact millions and millions will die, ice can be as bare as a desert from a footstuff point of view... This will be the crippler and the only time and reason mankind will actually stand up and say to itself(and it will because this is a standard human trait)...

Well, we fucked that right up didnt we, so, this time, lets go about it a better way!

^That's how we learn as a species

It is... Wallace and Gromit told me so!

I believe that the planet goes thru normal cycles of climate change, but we humans have caused the latest extreme climate change. The science evidence cannot be argued with and if you do your name must be similar to Trump

Sorry, but the scientific evidence CAN and should be disputed - both for and against.

A lot of green companies have funded research specifically to prove what they want.

Equally there are studies that state the complete opposite of a man-made global change.

They can't both be right. But on the same scale, they can't both be wrong.

Yes, there are very definite signs of climate change, and I don't doubt that man has made a big impact, but to state that the latest climate change is purely down to man cannot be proven - there are a million and one other factors.

What we do need to do though is continue to find clean energy solutions and try to reduce waste of all kinds, in the eventuality that they will be the only options.

Hey, I'm not going to argue with you guys - just stating what I believe.

Well it looks like I came up "Trumps" with that one. LOL

Seriously though, if the government believe everything the cyclists and crusties say then they will be introducing a fart-tax next and will probably base the rates on the size of our arses.

I said to Kirsty's bairn one day... He's 5... I said "The moon is made of cheese you know", he replied...

"Dont be silly, it's made of rock, and it's a piece of the earth, and the earth isnt made of cheese is it?", in a matter of fact way!

pwned by a 5 year old! *The shame*
